My Passion for Homebuilding
I enjoy being a part of creating something. As a home builder, my job is business for me, however, it is personal for my customers. Understanding this concept allows me to be a part of something special for the homeowner. In many cases we are building not just a house, but a dream home for someone who has worked towards the goal of building this specific home, just the way they want it, for quite some time. It's a lot of fun to be a part of making someone's hopes and dreams become a reality.

My Most Memorable Homeowner Story
In 2004, I had the opportunity to build a home for a customer in our neighborhood, Skybrook. On the day of our homeowner orientation, I arrived at the home about an hour early to unlock and walk the home before the homeowner arrived. After I completed my pre-walk throughout the home, I went to my office to get the paper-work necessary for the orientation. Upon returning to the home, I found my homeowners had arrived a little early. I greeted him and asked if his wife would be joining us. He replied that she was upstairs, to which I said that I was going to go up and say hello. He asked me to give her a few moments to gather herself because she was crying. Alarmed by this, I asked if everything was okay, and he respond, "yeah, she's fine, she's crying because this is her dream home and it turned out just the way she wanted, she's just happy, that's all..." . That's the part of my job that I love!
